Sebastian Berner is internationally recognized as one of the leading trumpeters of his generation, admired for his technical brilliance, musical precision, and commanding stage presence. He is currently Principal Trumpet of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and First Prize winner of the 2022 International Maurice André Competition in Paris.
Active on leading international concert stages, Berner has performed as Guest Principal Trumpet with leading orchestras including the Berlin Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Bamberg Symphony, and is scheduled to appear as Principal Trumpet with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra in 2026. His performances have taken him to renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Suntory Hall, the Philharmonie de Paris, and Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
As a soloist, Sebastian Berner has appeared with orchestras including the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine in Paris, and the Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim, establishing a profile that combines orchestral authority with a strong solo voice.
